I did not blame her teammates.
I did not blame her Coach.
I did not tweet racist things about her teammates.
I did not make excuses.
I did not bring up past accomplishments to excuse her bad game.
I did not tweet homophobic attacks against her Coach.
I did not attack her Coach’s spouse.
I did not scroll the timeline looking for anyone tweeting negative things about her performance so that I could attack and insult them in their comments.
I tweeted that she had a bad game………
That was it.
Then I went to the gym for my second workout of the day.
Full accountability went to HER and HER alone.

If Pizza Hut can return, then we can resurrect Blockbuster. And we should. While Netflix made things more “convenient” we lost something irreplaceable: The ritual of going to a place with your family or friends to choose a story together. That experience was special.
