Today Tesla at Naperville Chicago received in the showroom the Cosmic Silver Model YL I stopped in after work to check it out. Notables: Cosmic Silver with Zen Grey interior Black headliner 16 inch screen Launch emblems throughout. Center armrest also Zen Grey Cooled wireless charging. 3rd row floor is slightly elevated but not bad Plenty of space for each row. (I’m 6 foot and fit in 3rd row easily) I love the 20 inch wheels. Look very premium Overall it feels very premium and well made. Does not have front fender and rear camera washers like the Robotaxi 😢 but front bumper cam does have washer.

If THIS doesn't infuriate you, then you're not paying attention: black couple who posted about "white privilege" sentenced after taking the life of their 3-year-old white foster daughter. Ariel Robinson and Jerry Robinson, who had publicly posted content attacking "white privilege," were the foster parents of 3-year-old Victoria "Tori" Rose Smith, a little white girl. The child d*ed from severe blunt force trauma and internal bleeding caused by repeated beatings while in their care. Ariel Robinson was sentenced to life in prison. Jerry Robinson received 20 years. Where's the widespread coverage from the mainstream media? Oh - that's right- it doesn't fit their narrative. Let's do their jobs for them. Make sure everyone sees this. #FosterCareFailure #ProtectOurChildren

I've pieced together this incredibly rare & precious Edwardian colour movie, filmed 118 years ago at Upton Manor Farm in Southwick, England. This is the Autumn Harvest of 1908, showing rural life in the UK just 7 years after the end of the Victoria Era, when our life and work was considerably less mechanised. This is amongst the earliest British colour films, which was made via Kinemacolour, developed by George Albert Smith in 1906. It employed a spinning 2-colour filter system of red and green filters to replicate "full colour". The separate colour frames line up pretty well, except fo shots of lateral movement, such as the horse's legs where the individual coloured filters become much more apparent. The music I've used is the Largo movement from Dvořák's Symphony No. 9, "From the New World", which is rather ironic considering the film shows us scenes of the Old World long gone. Watch until the end, which leaves us a charming little love story. Though perhaps she waved her fellow off to War on the Western Front 6 years later... (One of my hobbies is to collect old colour film footage, and if you enjoy this example I might share a few extra videos on my account)

Today would have been our beautiful daughter Ashley’s 27th birthday. ❤️ Though #BrainCancer took her from us far too soon at just 13, we choose to celebrate her precious life & thank God every day for the 13 incredible years we were blessed to have with her. We’d be so grateful for a follow to Cancer Response Team (@Nonprofit4Kids) to help keep Ashley’s story alive & to shine a brighter light for every child still battling cancer. Happy Heavenly Birthday, sweet Ashley. We love you & miss you always. 🕊️❤️

DYK (Grok) The stunning 24K gilded 'Arts of War' & 'Arts of Peace' statues near DC's Lincoln Memorial were a gift from Italy in 1951! Cast in Italian foundries using Marshall Plan funds, they thank America for helping rebuild Italy after WWII. In 1945 the USS Indianapolis secretly delivered the parts for the atomic bomb that would hit Hiroshima. Days later, mission done, a Japanese submarine put two torpedoes into her. She sank in 12 minutes. Nearly 900 men made it off the ship alive and into the open ocean. Then it got worse. No one knew they were missing. Three separate Navy stations picked up the distress signals and every one of them ignored it. One officer thought it was a Japanese trap. Another had ordered not to be disturbed. So the men floated. For almost five days. No food, no fresh water, burning by day and freezing at night. Some drank seawater and went insane. And the whole time, the sharks were circling and feeding. It is considered the worst shark attack in human history. When rescue finally came by accident, only 316 of the nearly 1,200 crew were still alive. The Navy needed someone to blame for the disaster. They chose Captain Charles McVay, one of the men who survived it. He became the only U.S. captain in the entire war to be court-martialed for losing his ship to the enemy. At his trial the Navy did something almost unheard of. They brought in the Japanese commander who sank the ship to testify against him. Instead, the enemy captain told the court that zigzagging would have made no difference and that McVay did nothing wrong. They convicted him anyway. For years afterward McVay got hate mail from the families of the dead. Some sent letters every Christmas telling him he murdered their sons. In 1968 he walked onto his front lawn and shot himself, holding a toy sailor he had kept since he was a boy. Case closed. For fifty years. Then in 1996 an 11-year-old named Hunter Scott watched Jaws with his dad and got hooked on the 30 second speech about the Indianapolis. He made it his sixth grade history project. He tracked down and interviewed nearly 150 survivors. He dug through more than 800 documents. And buried in there he found what the Navy had left out, including that they knew enemy subs were operating right on the ship's route and never warned McVay. A kid's school project turned into a national story. It reached Congress. In 2000 lawmakers passed a resolution clearing McVay's name and President Clinton signed it. The Navy officially cleared his record in 2001. The captain the Navy spent decades blaming was finally exonerated by a sixth grader. Hunter Scott grew up and became a naval flight officer.

My aunt is the legendary singer Patti LaBelle. She has performed our National Anthem FOUR different times at major national sporting events. Not once did she ever sing the Black National Anthem. She ALWAYS performed "The Star-Spangled Banner." And tomorrow, she will do it again at the 2026 MLB All-Star Game. Why? Because she will be singing to EVERY AMERICAN - not just some of us. She will be using her beautiful, powerful voice to bring us TOGETHER - not tear us apart. And I like to think that’s because President Trump is in office and his message is AMERICA FIRST. Unlike the Democrats who constantly use race to divide us, he reminds us: We are ONE country. We have ONE national anthem. And it belongs to ALL OF US. So while the NFL platforms the OTHER song at the Super Bowl... ...MLB will celebrate baseball's place in the DNA of OUR COUNTRY by giving us the REAL ANTHEM. God Bless America!

Icydk..Grok: The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is named after Nancy Grace Roman (1925–2018), NASA’s first Chief of Astronomy and a pioneering astrophysicist often called the “Mother of Hubble.” • Roman played a key role in developing early space astronomy programs, advocated for orbiting telescopes to avoid atmospheric distortion, and helped lay the groundwork for the Hubble Space Telescope. • NASA chose the name in 2020 to honor her foundational contributions to the field, making this the first NASA mission named after a woman.

Five illegal aliens tied to a Colombian crime ring arrested for violent Houston home invasion and holding a CHILD at gunpoint! Where's the mainstream media?!?! Authorities arrested five suspects in connection with a terrifying armed home invasion in Houston last March. The men stormed a family’s residence, restrained the victims, and held a juvenile at gunpoint while carrying out a violent robbery. The five men arrested include Norvey Rodriguez Angulo, Elvin Lavon Caicedo, Elvin Caicedo, Eleuterio Castro, and Edward Lozano Tenorio. All five face charges of aggravated robbery. Court documents tie the group to a transnational theft ring, and law enforcement sources have described them as part of a Colombian-linked criminal operation that has targeted homes across Texas. The broader ring has been linked to earlier arrests in Fort Bend County and a larger operation that recovered around $4 million in stolen property. Investigators noted the crew’s use of pre-burglary surveillance tactics typical of South American theft networks. Reports have described the suspects as being in the country illegally. This kind of violent crime against American families shows exactly why secure borders and real enforcement are essential to protect our communities. #BorderSecurity #ProtectAmericanFamilies

The flooding damage in Del Rio TN is as bad or worse than it was during Hurricane Helene for this town. Words fail me to describe how bad it actually is, truly apocalyptic scenes. So many people lost everything, roads are washed out, homes are flooded, one guy watched his truck float downstream in front of him and then his entire garage door ripped off and everything inside of it floated downstream. People are using personal tractors to dig out some of the biggest mudslides I've ever seen. Entire roadways no longer exist and it genuinely looks like a bomb went off in the center of Del Rio. It's going to take years to recover from this. Please keep these people in your prayers, this isn't being covered in the mainstream media at all and these mountain folks are ALWAYS forgotten by the media. Please pray.

Throughout his remarkable career, Elon Musk has changed lives across every field he touches — from revolutionizing sustainable energy and space travel to advancing brain-computer interfaces and artificial intelligence. But let’s talk for a moment about the next generation and how he’s impacting them. Around the world, Starlink is closing the digital divide in education. In remote and underserved communities — from indigenous territories and rural villages to isolated regions across continents — students are gaining access to high-speed internet for the first time. What began with powerful results in places like Ojo Encino Kindergarten has grown into broader efforts bringing connectivity to hundreds of student homes where traditional service never existed. The impact is immediate and profound: “Students who received the service reported that they can finally participate in full virtual classes from home, without any interruptions, and they’re experiencing faster connections than they’ve ever seen. In some homes, multiple students need to get online at the same time — something that was impossible before Starlink.” Leaders in indigenous communities have highlighted why this matters so deeply. Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. of the Cherokee Nation said it best: “Every kid, every Cherokee kid that grows up, I don’t care where they grow up, they shouldn’t have a disadvantage when it comes to something that’s as basic anymore as getting online and getting an education, getting a job.” With its easy self-installation and reliable low-latency connection, Starlink is reaching even the most remote corners of the planet. It’s empowering young people everywhere with the tools to learn, explore, and build their futures — helping close opportunity gaps that have limited generations before them. Today, two-thirds of children and young people worldwide still lack home internet access. Starlink is changing that reality, one community at a time.
