@YuoTheodore Assuming your assertion is correct, the conclusion is that if the anatomy isn't favorable for stenting, med rx alone is fine. Seems fair to me.

The CEA and CAS cohorts are not comparable. The CAS patients had favorable anatomy, especially important for the transfemoral approach. The CAS results are indeed outstanding, but only applicable to the narrow patients with the right anatomy. CEA is much more versatile.
