I really am going to make it happen. Once I cut out the noise, pulled back from social scenes, and honed in on what I actually want from myself, it became clear what I needed to do. So I got obsessed with my craft, in an unhealthy way. I protect my time and treat it as sacred, because I finally understand why successful founders value time so much they buy it back. Once that clicked, everything became unequivocally clear. soft launch next week, congrats to me 🎉

It's never been a better time to bootstrap to a massive outcome or be ridiculously ambitious and raise a ton of money. The middle is an absolutely awful place to be. Most people are building in the middle when they should go left or right.

As a software engineer in 2026, start a startup. Best case: you make some money. Worst case: you have a project with real users that makes your resume stand out.

Indie devs waste months on the wrong problem. Before you write a single line of code, answer this: Is there already a subreddit, Facebook group, or Discord where people complain about this exact problem? If yes → the market exists. If no → you're guessing. Community = validated demand. Always.

in the iteration period :) I just completed my MVP in about week n half, and started stress testing my product making sure it’s bulletproof finding bugs, incorrect workflows, making sure visual design makes sense for my ICP. this has to be the most stressful part about building but i’m also enjoying it so much. i’m genuinely so exited on what’s to be in the following weeks.

@_JohnBuilds_ no bugs just yet, but heavily iterating my onboarding flow making sure the UX is a perfect welcome into the product.
