I’ve come to the conclusion that building wealth is not as easy as people make it seem. Even when someone earns enormous amounts of income, the level of discipline required to actually build wealth is something most people are not willing to commit to. Imagine buying shares and holding through all the ups and downs without panic selling anything guys? That alone is difficult. People love the idea of wealth, but the discipline behind it is what scares most people away. And if you see a wealthy successful person, respect them. I’ve tried building wealth myself and realized what it actually takes. The sacrifices, patience, emotional control, consistency, and discipline are things most people never see behind the scenes.

When I was writing my masters thesis, I knew Mau Mau was banned in the 50s. But I assumed of course after independence, they'd be unbanned. I decided to look up the date so I could cite it. Mau Mau was unbanned in 2003! by the Kibaki administration. I clearly remember screaming.
