Gavin Newsom -- "I played college baseball at Univ. of Santa Clara -- I was recruiting because my swing reminded the coaches of Will Clark, 1B for the SF Giants." Lie. Never played for Santa Clara. Enrolled in the fall of 1985. Will Clark made his MLB debut for the Giants in 1986. "One of the reasons for my divorce from Kimberly Guilfoyle was because she had taken a job with Fox News and that just didn't work as the First Lady of San Francisco." Guilfoyle took a job with Court TV in Jan. 2004, for which she moved to New York. Newsom won the Mayor's race 2 months earlier -- Nov. 2003. Sounds like a really solid marriage. They announced they were separated and filing for divorce in Jan. 2005 -- one year after she left. Their divorce was final Feb. 2006. Guilfoyle started working for Fox News as host of a weekend crime show "The Lineup" -- first appearance was Feb. 10, 2006. From 2004 to 2006 she had appeared as a legal analyst on CNN and ABC. Just another lie that rolls off his tongue like he can't separate reality from fiction in his life "story". "Narcissistic Personality Disorder" (NPD): This is an official diagnosis in the DSM-5. It is characterized by a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, a constant need for admiration, and a lack of empathy.

I think in my town, the fire department just calls the power company and has the whole neighborhood turned off. Assuming the automated systems haven't already done so. In the Summer, a stiff breeze is enough to shut off power to hole segments of the grid. (Wildfire is a huge concern here.)

Homeowners in this township we’re notified that they had to install a disconnect for their] electric meter base at a cost of $2500 so in the event of a fire the firefighters could simply throw the disconnect and cut power to the dwelling. These folks had an actual fire and a firefighter who no doubt was acting on his training, pulled the meter out of the meter base threw it on the ground and left the internals of the meter base exposed to the elements. I’m sure the letterhead that went out notifying the good people of this Township of this “necessary addition”kindly provided a contractor that would do it for them…sounds like a scam to me. You would think they would use an actual disconnect and not a breaker, that firefighter doesn’t have time to look at our wiring schematic🙄 Has anyone else heard of this ?

Sports fans can't agree on much anymore. But everyone is seemingly in agreement on this: Audi Crooks could legitimately beat some NBA players in a game of 1 on 1. She could easily beat at least 4 players on the Washington Wizards right now. And she's about to become the biggest basketball star on the planet. Here's why. Crooks just entered the transfer portal. One year of eligibility left. Every program in America is going to fight over her. The numbers this season: 25.8 points per game. 64.9% from the field. Second in the nation in scoring. She scored 47 against Indiana. 43 against Valparaiso. 41 against Kansas. 41 against Kansas State. She was the only player in the country with multiple 40-point games this season. Kevin Garnett watched her highlights and called it "old-school fundamentals mixed with new-age dominance." But here's the part most people don't know. Audi Crooks is from Algona, Iowa. Population 5,274. Her dad Jimmie was a 6-foot-8 basketball player who earned all-conference honors in high school and played in college. Her mom Michelle was one of the all-time leading scorers at Bishop Garrigan High School. They both wore number 55. Jimmie died on August 14, 2021. He was 55 years old. Audi was 16. She has worn number 55 at every level since. She has a tattoo on her right arm: the word "Pops," a halo, angel wings, and a Bible verse, Proverbs 3:6. Before every game, she prays and talks to her father. She says he has the best seat in the house. In high school, she scored 2,733 career points. She averaged 32.9 points on 75.2% shooting as a senior. She scored 49 points in the state championship game. Back-to-back state titles. She went viral playing AAU ball and earned the nickname "Lady Shaq." The full story of how a kid from a town of 5,000 in Iowa became the most dominant force in college basketball, and why every blue blood in the country is about to fight over her, is here: itsgame7.com/nba/audi-crook… Then she got to Iowa State. As a freshman, in her very first NCAA tournament game, Iowa State trailed Maryland by 20 points. Crooks scored 40 points on 18-of-20 shooting. Ninety percent from the field. Iowa State came back and won 93-86. She joined Bill Walton as the only player in NCAA Tournament history to score 40 or more on 90% shooting. She was 19 years old. Since she was 13, she has been body-shamed and criticized by people who have never come close to doing anything half as impressive as what she does on a basketball court every night. Her response: "Being strong is something that I'm proud of. Being big is something that I'm proud of." She doesn't argue. She doesn't fire back. She just scores 47 on you and walks off. Iowa State's season ended with a first-round NCAA tournament loss to Syracuse. She scored 37 in the loss. Her teammates entered the portal. The program fell apart. And now, she's available. UConn. South Carolina. LSU. Whoever lands Audi Crooks becomes an instant national championship favorite. She's 21 years old. She's from a town most people have never heard of. She carries her father's number on her back and his name on her arm. And she plays basketball like someone dropped a 1990s center into the modern game. One year left. The biggest transfer in women's basketball history. And she's just getting started.

@TodaysCowboys @ASimmons1980 @TheMarvSpace Sure, was more stating that he put up numbers every single year with bad qbs. If he had big ben, Rodgers, or someone like that he would have even better numbers. I always argue rice is the goat in no small part because he played with 2 hall of fame qbs in an amazing system

@CollinRugg This raises a broader question about consistency. If we’re worried about kids being influenced in financial matters, shouldn’t we apply that same level of scrutiny across all areas where minors are making significant decisions? Cough cough transgender surgeries….

NEW: Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren says she has "questions" for YouTuber MrBeast. "I have questions for MrBeast," Warren posted on X. The post comes after Warren sent a letter to Jimmy 'MrBeast' Donaldson, who has 474M subscribers on YouTube, over his recent acquisition of Step. Step is a financial technology app that provides banking services to children. "Despite Step’s careful claims that crypto investing by minors was only with the permission of a parent or guardian, Step published resources encouraging kids to pressure their parents into crypto investments," Warren wrote last month. "Step, for example, produced a video titled ‘How to Talk to Your Parents About Investing in Crypto,’ which was targeted at kids whose parents ‘want nothing to do with crypto,’..." she continued. "The video coaches children on how to convince their parents to let them make investments their parents may not want and includes specific scripts for children to use while talking to their parents."

by charging $3,000 per window? I mean, You figure a few hours for removal, cost of installation and parts, then install labor on a premium window, yeah that's about what you're looking at, not to mention your sliding glass door.. Or did you want him to use illegal labor so it's cheaper??? Because installers surely don't deserve to be able to afford a work vehicle... They should have to grovel for the work and be thankful for the pentance. Let's assume you didn't get the entry level model as well... At least you won't be replacing them in 5 years... Sounds to me like you chose a premium company you could afford. What are you complaining about again? You could have called Window World...

@californiapost Hahahaha. Lololol. This is all fine, but none of these cities/states deserve a single cent from taxpayers when it comes time to fix all this. Voters need to be held accountable for their decisions just as elected officials do.

Fucking morons don’t even know why Cortes said this. Go read the art of war by Sun Tzu and realize that several military commanders did this over the course of history including Alexander the Great, Xiang Yu, and Ziyad. This is such a soft bullshit over reaction. You know who did massacres? The fucking Aztecs. Go read a damn book.

@insidetheslot You don’t really “win” an Oscar - there is no metric to measure art’s beauty, so it’s entirely subjective and arbitrary I’d say competing in the Olympics and getting last place is more impressive

Chris Broussard on LeBron being the 3rd option for the Lakers: “We all talk about how high his basketball IQ is, historically high. There’s no way LeBron is sitting there watching Luka shoot 30 shots and miss 2/3 of them, thinking that’s smart. I’m definitely not saying he has any issue with Luka, but he’s watching this and there’s no way he thinks that’s the best way to play basketball. I think he realizes though this is the only way we can win. If I deplete myself the way D Wade did for LeBron, this is the best way we can win, but he knows that’s not smart basketball” (Via @FTFonFS1)

Kevin Garnett says today’s NBA is more of a ‘event’ than a ‘sport’ “I say this with respect cause today’s game is a lot more faster, more technical, they exhaust dribble little to much. You can get right to it if you want. It’s a bit of an event. It’s not a sport. Sports were on the ground. I’m seeing how they presented it from what it used to be to what it is now…. You got to play with an edge. You got to be in the gym. If your celebrity is in front of your work, then that’s a problem… I don’t know if our players are working at steam engine or peak level. I watch workouts. I hate the walk back to grab It then go. I hate that sh*t. That’s not game speed” (Via youtu.be/Mzwzz4iwmts)
