4 years ago I was in a dark place, a very dark place. Single & alone, needed a seat belt extender (although I had stopped wearing a seatbelt in my car), getting an error on my scale, pre diabetic, high blood pressure, resting heart rate of 117, probably a lot more. Renting a small apartment in the city I hated because with the mountain of credit card debt I had buying was off the table. To top it off I had dropped out of grad school even though I only had one semester left. I had given up. Today I finished work, went outside, and I’m spending the last of the daylight playing with my son. He is testing my wife’s patience by seeing how much of this little water table toy thing he can destroy and drop in the pool 🤣 7 months old and already getting up to mischief. Never give up. It gets better.
