@goma1337 @oracle_scrolls @iamamazing100 I have no problem with 500mb patch or smth. I just want to tell that sometimes it doesn't work as you expected it to be. In my opinion, if you have a disk or card, it should work in any case and without a patch.

Say what you want about the Nintendo or their games but man it's crazy how the Switch series of systems are the only one's where you can just put the game in and play it instantly. No waiting for the system to read the disc or load data to copy over, nothin...

This is why physical media still matters to me. Open the case. Insert the cartridge. Start playing. It takes seconds, just like it did on my Game Boy. Buy it, borrow it, swap it with a friend, it just works. I hope we don't lose this.

@MyDuck90153 @iamamazing100 That only happens because the console has used the game on a higher version before and hence "knows" the update exists.
You went out of your way to delete the update and game icon previously for that to happen.

@MyDuck90153 @vtech88_the_one They don't include update files in the cartridge? This is what the PS3 did right - every disc had the required console firmware inside - so you could play offline.
