Parents can't feed their kids, the elderly & disabled struggle to heat their homes. Working people struggle to put fuel in their cars to get to work, yet we pay millions for these clowns. Time for a revolution.

@SueWill1966 They pay a lot more in tax, than they receive in taxes. A revolution wouldn't give you a better job.

@the_fukaa @JuliaHB1 Farage isn't the one who attacks people for tax evasion, and he didn't deliberately avoid paying a tax he brought in. He's also never been in government. I'm more concerned about tax evasion at the top, than I am gifted money at the bottom.

@JuliaHB1 Change your nappy, and move on. The regulatory authority has spoken. Now , back to more pressing matters. Surely this gives you more time to try and defend Reform corruption?

How on earth has Angela Rayner been "cleared" by HMRC? She didn't pay the extra £40,000 stamp duty that was due. She didn't take the specialist tax advice on her flat purchase that she was advised to take. She failed to pay the extra stamp duty that she, as Housing Secretary, had brought in for second home purchasers. For HMRC not to issue a fine means they judged her decision as "reasonable care" having been taken, or it was possibly "careless", but not a "deliberate" underpayment. She clearly did not take "reasonable care" to ensure her tax was correct. And if it was "careless", it was *deliberate* carelessness. Do you seriously think that if YOU underpaid your taxes by £40,000 as the then Deputy Prime Minister did, that you would get away without a fine? Sorry, but this stinks.
Pippa Crerar@PippaCrerar

EXCL: Angela Rayner has been cleared by HMRC of deliberate wrongdoing or carelessness over her tax affairs, paving the way for a potential leadership bid if Keir Starmer’s grip on power unravels. The former DPM has settled £40,000 in unpaid stamp duty, but has not paid any penalty as a result of the investigation. HMRC was also satisfied there was no tax avoidance. Rayner tells me she was “bruised” by whole experience because of intrusion into her disabled son’s personal life, but also because it had appeared as though she was “in it for myself” rather than on the side of ordinary people. Rayner indicated she may run in event of a contest as she would “play my part” and that she understood why Labour MPs were so upset following last week’s election crushing. She said Starmer should “reflect on” stepping aside.

Something is not sitting right with me regarding newly-elected Green Party councillor, Mohammad Baghdadi Khan aka “Baggy Khan”. He is part of an amateur fight promotion called “Beecrown Promotions” as can be seen here in a promo driving a flash Mercedes. My hunch was to check this out but I can only find a “Beecrown Ltd” on Companies House which has been dissolved. The name associated with that business is a Shahiroen Ghazalee Khan of the same age and location in Bolton. So is this the same person? I believe so.

‘Not a takeover.’ "Not an act of domination" And "if seeing black and brown people on TV makes you sick, this is going to make you vomit" BRAVO @NazShahBfd hits back at far-right rhetoric with humour and class bringing together the Labour Party and the house down with laughter.

@ahmedsohail @MothinAli I suspect the deputy leader of a party that has just won a huge number of seats has many more things to worry about that concern more than just a tiny minority of the population.

Hey, @MothinAli, what do you think about gay people and the act of homosexuality? In an Islamic state as per Islamic teachings, do you believe homosexual acts should be punished, and if so, what do you believe the punishment should be? What do you think of gay Muslims like me?

@SnifflyPanda So it's only trans stuff dragging (no pun intended) down our score? We'd probably be near the top if it was LBG. 💙

When you include specifically Transgender rights, this is how the UK ranks. There is such a devastating slide backwards in this country and the same people who loudly support that will tell you sgraight-faced that it's not happening

This is 100% because we don't allow trans self ID and the Supreme Court ruled that sex overrules gender ID. Which is perfectly sensible. We have not gone backwards, other countries are nuts.

A cause for national shame. This is the Rainbow Map for LGBTI+ rights across Europe. Until 2015, the UK was top. We've now collapsed down the rankings - and are the worst in Western Europe. We're now near Albania.

Zack Polanski didn’t pay the right council tax. He’s going to pay the money back. Nigel Farage took an undeclared donation of £5 million, and at around the same time his gf magically found nearly £1m for a house for him in Clacton - cash, no mortgage - can we do that next please?

This front page is designed to suggest 200k people arrived this year (blatant lie! as its since 2018) Problem is, gullible folk will believe this. The govt @UKLabour should be publicly and aggressively calling this out especially when GMB and the lot are discussing this like its fact on their morning shows. FYI- numbers are down 50% from last year. 25% average a year 0.03% of rhe uk population.

@dieworkwear hi! You know a lot about fashion and clothing, so maybe you can answer this? Why do so many of Ncuti Gatwa's red carpet outfits look so awful? They're obviously not cheap, and he has a great figure so should be able to work anything. So why does it all look so bad?

Feels good getting back in touch with my roots. Somewhere along the way, I got so integrated I almost lost that part of me..lost myself trying to fit into something that was never fully mine. People love to say integration is all that matters… but they don’t talk about the cost. It’s exhausting. Makes me wonder sometimes—what would life have looked like if my parents hadn’t come to the UK? Different path, different story… still figuring out how to reclaim this one.

John Terry, former England Captain has backed Rupert Lowes policy to ban "foreigners" (presumably ILR) from claiming benefits with a comment "100% yes" John Terry, I understand, currently works part-time as an academy coach at Chelsea, helping develop youth players...I wouldn't want him near my child.
