@matigary Truth need to be told Sir. Most South Africans and documented foreign nationals do not committ such crimes because they know that they are traceable. Its only those who came to the country illegally and they know that you cant trace them

@lEsethuHasane Thanks. If anything, I was more harsh on Zuma. You even gave me grief for it back then. 😅 There’s a public record for all to see. Double standards at play.

Sizwe was pain to the Zuma administration, wrote a book and even made a rap album I didn’t listen to critical of that Presidency. At least he is consistent when some have change tact on positions because of clear paid for reasons. We see you

@MbekezeliMB Sure. I’m glad we agree on that. I don’t suggest the president can’t try an interim interdict. He can. I’m just not sure he will succeed. Or that it would be good for transparency and accountability. But let’s see. These are complex legal matters.

This is a new argument of why the interim interdict must fail. It’s a good argument, and I agree with it. But it’s very different from saying he must not even try to do it.
Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh@SizweMpofuWalsh

@shufflesdu No, because the impeachment committee looks into the report in more depth. The report is a preliminary finding that gets disproved or proved at committee. The whole point of the committee is to test the report.

I am confident that this man will put an end to the nonsense that is going on in South Africa in 5 years. I believe in this man! He deserves to be a president of this country. He has no competition.

@John_Hlatse Where will it be interdicted because a High Court as a lower court cant interdict a Constitutional Court order of the 08 May 2026

The order of the ConCourt will be implemented by referring the report to the impeachment committee, and it ends there. Any other thing that will be done by the impeachment committee stemming from that report will be interdicted pending finalization of the review of that report.
Dr. Thabang Kgwete, LLD@Thabang_Kgwete

I see that the ongoing commentary on the #Phalaphala ConCourt judgment is, for many, really about feelings and wishes. But let us at least agree on one thing: High Court is not competent to interdict the implementation of the order of the ConCourt (order: the referral of the s89 independent panel report to an impeachment committee).

He keeps saying there are grave errors of law in the section 89 report but will not specify what those grave errors are in his opinion. There are no errors of law in the section 89 report. It is a well written report and its conclusions are sober and logical. Review is a delaying tactic and face saving tactic not likely to succeed.

The United Nations is deeply concerned about the xenophobic attacks & acts of harassment & intimidation against migrants & foreign nationals in South Africa. Just like under apartheid, post-Mandela South Africa is fast becoming a rogue and pariah state. @CyrilRamaphosa @MbalulaFikile @ClaysonMonyela @RediTlhabi @HermanMashaba

Good morning South Africa, I come in peace. I have a question for black South Africans. How come 30 years after independence, you have not formed your own banks? Of the few big banks, only Capitec is recent, but was founded by white boys. The rest are old “colonial” banks from apartheid and pre-apartheid era. When are you going to form your own banks?
