At the end of the day the majority of end uses are inappropriate. We do not need hydrogen to power our buildings, electricity, most vehicles or most industry. There may be appropriate end uses for long haul freight trucking, aviation, maritime shipping and high heat industries.

Every other type of hydrogen production: gray from steam methane reform of fossil gas, blue from gray + CCS, brown from gasification of coal or BECCA from biofuels + CCS cause toxic emissions and exacerbate climate change and public health impacts

Thanks to everyone who came out. The solutions to the climate crisis are: 1. Phase out fossil fuels 2. Clean the grid with solar and wind 3. Electrify our homes, vehicles, industries, everything as we reduce use 4. Only use hydrogen if it's a) green b) safe c) needed

Can some hydrogen lobbyist explain the wild claim that ARB's Advanced Clean Cars II rule indicates 17% of passenger ZEVs will be fuel cell? ARB never estimates fuel cells representing >3.7% of annual ZEV car sales. It's almost as if the industry $$ grab is based on misinformation

Hydrogen lobby is taking Clean Transportation Funding in CA hostage, threatening to kill reauthorization unless more money is earmarked for H2 cars. Rly confirms the worst suspicions of the H2 industry. They would sooner stall the energy transition than lose more market share.
