I have kind constructive criticism to give: while I do understand the heart and intention behind this, it's not a wise idea to make merch directly based on pre-existing characters and IPs (intellectual properties). That's a legal nightmare in the making. That being said, you could make characters inspired by them. You can make a Black cowboy, a Black space ranger character, etc. Even give them their own backstories! Bring in Black 2D artists to create and let them cook. That way, you're pouring back into the community! If you disagree with me, that's okay, just be respectful.
