Unlike the knuckleheads below, I've been inside the facility. Here's some shocking information: The facility is designed to detain illegal alien families as they await removal. There are no bars, no guards with guns. The campus is set up like a theme park with cartoon like animal mapping signs to let you know how to get around (unescorted). There are no locks on the doors, but there is a gymnasium, free hair salon, video game room for the kids, unlimited 24-hour snacks and a full cafeteria for three square meals. A full library, including a legal section in several languages, a beauty salon, a childcare facility so moms can leave the kids when they get their hair done, a full school with certified teachers so kids can continue education while detained, and medical facility. PS. These folks aren't concerned with how you might be detained as an American if you are arrested here or abroad. Wonder why... I read her book, Castro’s Daughter, when it was published. I highly recommend it. It’s eye opening to the issues with supplies and corruption. Her toilet was a hole in the floor of the bathroom.
