Get over it?!?! COVID was the worst year of my life, but I had it easy. Millions of families lost loved ones and couldn’t properly bury and honor them, and millions of small business owners and low wage workers lost everything. Also an entire generation of school kids are behind on their education because of the consequences of school lockdowns, and nobody knows how to talk to others anymore in person because we couldn’t do it for a year. Fauci did a lot of great work in the past especially during the AIDS crisis in the late 20th century, but he completely screwed up COVID and it costed our country

Walks are like free throws. A major league pitcher walking more than 3 guys unintentionally, Is the equivalent of shooting less than 50% from the line. Shouldn't happen at the professional level.

@JSG3_ Definitely a combination. I look at it more now because I teach 5th grade and the kids now never were set back from COVID, yet the trends continue downward. Awful social skills, poor work habits. I stopped giving homework because nobody did it.

@JSG3_ Understood and I have two girls who were robbed of similar experiences. I get it. Things were not handled correctly. I'm just speaking from an educational standpoint. Technology and parents working and not wanting to spend downtime being parents compromised students more.

@MyNumbersGarden You aren’t wrong, but I’m a bit biased because I lost my entire senior year of HS because of COVID. That hurt a lot, and it’s hard for me to talk about even to this day. COVID was one of those life events that brought out the worst in all of us

Spencer Jones seems to have a bigger future in the outfield than Jasson Dominguez. If he hits bombs and plays 3 outfield positions, we can live with the strikeouts. Especially if he’s willing to take a walk.
