The land was sold in 2017, but after years of legal protests, it was established that it should have been designated for community use. The council "unreservedly" apologised in an extraordinary meeting in June this year, and said it would help return the land to the community.

Not only is the Liz Truss Government on a collision course with every environment & green group in the country but I suspect pretty much every young person. I hope she has a good answer for her teenage daughters about why she doesn't care about the environment or the planet!
