Now there is a bench warrant out for him. And this blurry partial image is the best photo the public has of him right now. Let that sink in. A man accused of a violent antisemitic attack on a rabbi was released, skipped court, is now wanted, and NYC still refuses to show the public his face. They would rather protect his “privacy” than protect the public. Mugshots are not about “stigma.” They are a basic public safety tool. People have a right to know who to look for. Who to avoid. Who to report. Instead, the city hides his face and leaves the Jewish community blind to this walking threat. Wanted by the court. Shielded by the city. That is New York.
