I grew up believing that @Manekagandhibjp was a true champion for animals. That belief didn’t survive once I actually worked within the system. What I witnessed was deeply disappointing—intimidation, hostility, and a lack of focus on real, long-term solutions like sterilization and peaceful human-animal coexistence. Instead of building trust with citizens, there seemed to be more conflict than compassion. Concerns have also been raised over the functioning of the @pfaindia network under her leadership, and Maneka's own Sanjay Gandhi Animal Care Centre has faced criticism and court scrutiny in the past regarding animal care standards and compliance with welfare laws. During her political tenure in Pilibhit, the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve saw repeated incidents of human-wildlife conflict and multiple wildlife deaths reported over the years. These are complex issues, but they demand accountable and solution-oriented leadership. Animal welfare is not about power or perception—it’s about integrity, empathy, and consistent action on the ground. India doesn’t just need voices for animals. It needs leadership that listens, collaborates, and actually creates sustainable change. Much-Awaited Update on Skinned Alive Puppy🐾 Because of angels like you, Puppy Cyclone’s surgery has gone successfully. The skin on his head has been stitched back safely by the vets. 🙏 But the fight isn’t over yet. Due to the severe head trauma, his body has lost coordination and the little one is still unable to drink on his own. He is under close monitoring and needs time, care and prayers to recover. The surgery and immediate post-operative bills are fully paid, thanks to your kindness.
