Janitors, nannies, restaurant workers, farmworkers, people who couldn't afford to miss a single paycheck showed up anyway. Because they refused to let this country pretend they didn't exist. I came to America at 16. I never forgot what that movement meant. Today, with ICE terrorizing our communities and this administration treating immigrants like criminals, we showed up again. Workers. Immigrants. Families. In the streets of Seattle, refusing to be invisible. We are still here. And we are not staying quiet.
