If you didn't know, the new Congressional map for Virginia has five different districts with some portion of Fairfax County in them. So five different members of Congress will have among their constituencies the residents of one county in the Northern Virginia suburbs of DC.

No one is ready for the real solution to Gerrymandering: A return to the Constitution's original standard of 1 Member of Congress for every 30,000 Americans, resulting in an 11,000-member House with city-council sized districts so small you can't Gerrymander them if you tried.

🚨NEWS: Virginia now has a new permanent payroll tax that will take a varying % of your paycheck and give it to someone else every check from now on. You will also have to pay many times over what you would receive should you take paid leave, if you ever take paid leave (how’s that going to work, small business owners?). The regulations are some of the loosest in the country - allowing 12 weeks of leave annually with minimal requirements or restrictions. Costs were forecast under our current 30% utilization rate, not under an incentivized model to take 100% leave. It has a variable rate, no cap, and sets up a new permanent bureaucracy (jobs!) under the VEC (never had any troubles here) to administer. We have to borrow $750,000 to set it up which must be paid back from our taxes within 3 years. It’s estimated to cost over $2B in year 3 when it goes live, and add a billion a year through year 5. Several states that have tried this are having to appropriate funding from their general funds to subsidize theirs, like WA. This was a historic step for the people. Under Democrat leadership in Richmond, we have now dove headlong into a permanently unworkable solution that does nothing but perpetually extract revenue from taxpayers while politicians clap and celebrate lies. #Affordability

🚨NEWS: Virginia now has Paid Family and Medical Leave! Working Virginians will no longer be forced to give up their paycheck to welcome a child or care for a loved one facing a serious illness. A historic step forward for the people who power Virginia’s economy.

This is where America began, the cradle of the Republic herself That is the Virginia Tidewater, where the growth of tobacco powered the creation of the first American gentry Modeling themselves after the British gentry, those families—the First Families of Virginia and other “Topping People”—led Virginia into its Golden Age. They built a state with political traditions of gentlemanly leadership that led to the creation of America as we know it. They were the first to resist tyrannical taxation. They started the Seven Years War. They led the construction of the early republic, and determined its tone and forms It’s good to know it’s still alive, if only just, as the Old Dominion falls to pieces because of the behemoth FDR created

Which was deliberate. I'm not a public figure. However, I lobbied to keep your "part" of the movement at arms length. While the idea of protesting a Lee Statue's decomission is admirable, anyone with with eyes could see the op at hand.

These memes will only hit if you guys actually pass a bill voiding the retrocession. Democrats get to gloat in Virginia because they actually followed through to the end. Pass the bill to bring Arlington back into DC, get the President to sign it, and defend it in court and then we can all meme about it online.

I was called a "cuck" for telling people not to go to Charlottesville. Then young men lined up with bright lights on their faces, media everywhere. Many hundreds of lives ruined. They were young and didn't know what they were being led into. Sometimes. Listen to your elders.

The @FBI and its Newark field office are reportedly "spooked" and actively investigating a "sophisticated theft" of 15 agricultural spraying drones from a location in New Jersey. Experts and retired agents have expressed deep concern, noting that such drones could potentially be used to disperse biological or chemical agents. This theft is being investigated alongside ongoing reports of unexplained drone activity near sensitive New Jersey sites, such as the Picatinny Arsenal and energy infrastructure. Anyone with information regarding the stolen drones or suspicious activity is urged by the FBI Newark field office to contact them at 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit a tip through tips.fbi.gov.

Hey I remember you. You were an insignificant, niche micro-celebrity that unsuccessfully tried to barnacle themselves to the Libertarian Right. Not that you'd admit to any of that now. Had any goat blood lately, "Sun God"? U mad you were early to the Roman Statue party?
Augustus Invictus@EmperorInvictus

I was one of the speakers at Unite the Right. I was at the torch march the night before. I wrote the Charlottesville Statement with Richard Spencer. My credentials here are indisputable. I have spent the past three years of my life dealing with a criminal trial and all its repercussions for holding a torch at a legal rally, at which I committed no crime. I spent a month in jail without bond and was extradited to Virginia with a 50,000-volt taser strapped to my arm. I was sentenced to 9 months, followed by 2 years of probation, after being prosecuted by the leftist counter-protestors who tried to shut down the event. I am now fighting the Attorney General of Virginia on appeal - the same communist Attorney General who talked about murdering kids, which all these "right-wing" influencers decried. I have personally helped - or tried to help - countless people who have been doxxed, fired, prosecuted, blacklisted, debanked, and all else because they were at the rally. These people were shunned by their families, had child protective services called on them, were harassed by the FBI - the same FBI now promoting this lie about the SPLC funding Unite the Right. I am personal friends with numerous people who were at Charlottesville. I have stayed at their houses, eaten dinner with their families, our kids have played together. Some of them were at my wedding. They are not "actors" or "paid informants of the SPLC." I have, as a lawyer, represented more than a few of them in court, as we have all been hounded by law enforcement (henchmen of the SPLC and ADL) for years. I cannot count the number of people I know whose lives have been destroyed over the past 9 years because we dared to unite all the disparate factions of the right-wing in order to protest the destruction of White America. Every "right-wing" influencer pushing this lie that Unite the Right was an SPLC psyop is dead to me.

DOJ's indictment alleges that SPLC was secretly paying one of the organizers of the infamous 2017 "Unite the Right" rally. Our research team pulled SPLC's financial statements. Notably, SPLC's public support, revenue and net assets TRIPLED following the rally.

It's worth recapping just how many state laws Virginia Democrats violated in order to actually do this referendum. They kept a special session open for two years, pushed it through with early voting already underway in last year's governor's race, and failed to publish it three months before an election. They wrote an extremely misleading ballot question, also in violation of the law, that claimed creating a 10D-1R map was a "temporary measure" to "restore fairness," in order to influence a particular result. And yet, a referendum passing by less than 5 points will allow them to create a 10D-1R map in a state that voted for Kamala by 6 points. If only Republicans would use the power they gain to ruthlessly govern instead of lecturing us about 'norms and procedures.'
