When Mumias Sugar Collapsed the entire economy around it also collapsed. Frame 1: These dilapidated one-roomed houses is where sugarcane truck drivers lived. Those who remained behind are now living in squalor. Frame 2: This was a very active commercial centre inside the complex, just a few meters from the factory. Here, there was: - Post Office - Bus Booking offices, in fact, Easy Coach parked here all the way from Nairobi. - Police Station - Shops, the first Mumias M-Pesa in 2007, were set up here. - Nation had an active courier shop here. Frame 3: These are offices of Asians who were contracted to transport cane. They owned hundreds of trucks and tractors. The place is now a shell. Frame 4: Former employees of the company have resorted to doing menial jobs like burning charcoal to make a living. Fuck you, Kidero.

𝗦𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗬 𝗥𝗢𝗕𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗡𝗘𝗨𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗗, 𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗔 𝗣𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗟 𝗦𝗘𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗗 In a decisive operation, detectives have neutralised a key suspect linked to the brazen armed robbery at a popular restaurant in Spring Valley, Nairobi, and recovered a Beretta pistol following a fierce shootout in Joska, Machakos County. The suspect is also believed to have been part of a criminal network behind a series of violent robberies across Nairobi, Kiambu and Machakos counties. Acting swiftly on crucial intel, detectives from DCI Headquarters joined forces with their DCI Matungulu counterparts to launch a raid on a house in Joska Town, where the suspect had reportedly taken refuge in his girlfriend’s house. Upon identifying themselves and ordering the occupants to open the door, the suspect opened fire through a kitchen window, spraying bullets at the officers. Detectives returned fire in self-defence. After securing the premises and gaining entry, the detectives discovered the suspect lying fatally wounded inside the house. A Beretta pistol, loaded with a magazine containing four rounds of 9mm ammunition, alongside live rounds and spent cartridges, were recovered at the scene. Also recovered were three mobile phones. Preliminary investigations strongly link the suspect to the recent daylight robbery along General Mathenge Road in Spring Valley, Westlands, where armed thugs terrorised diners, snatching phones and valuables before fleeing on motorcycles. The recovered firearm is now in the custody of the National Police Service Forensic Laboratory (NPSFL), where ballistic experts will examine it for possible links to other violent crimes. Meanwhile, a manhunt is underway to trail down the suspect's accomplices, who remain at large. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations reaffirms its commitment to dismantling violent criminal networks and ensuring that all those involved in serious crimes face the full force of the law. #FichuaKwaDCI. @georgediano real issue isn't that they share advice, but that some people accept it without thinking critically. It's wise to listen to different perspectives, but make financial and life decisions based on your own judgment and circumstances.

These two blunt boyz will make you think that buying yourself a Fanta Madiba is a crime. They'll tell you that watching football is for lazy men who don't know how to make money. They'll also tell you that if you save the KSh 2,000 you spend on Tusker Baridi every month, you'll have KSh 20 million in your account after 15 years. Then they'll tell you to buy their books on how to get rich instead of using that money to buy yourself Fanta baridi. Ironically, whatever they post online has never even worked for them. They depend on your money to survive. Their end game is always the same: sell you a course or a book. They're not offering anything new. They capture your attention, then sell you something. They're no different from those forex gurus who'll try to convince you that they can pay the entire teaching fraternity using a single day's profits. At the end of the day, they're all content creators. It's up to you to decide what to consume and what to ignore. Real successful people are often silent. These other guys are simply men trying to survive the economy, and that's okay. The real problem isn't them,, it's people who listen to others and follow everything they're told without reasoning. Advice is meant to be shared, but decisions are deeply personal. Listen to everyone if you want, but always sit down, think critically, and decide your own course of action.

@amerix PAID ACTIVISTS -Europe and America became wealthy by using coal during their industrialization. ..unfair to discourage Africa from using the same path to develop, while supporters of clean energy say today's climate challenges require a different approach.

Europe and America developed by burning coal. But when it is Africa burning coal to enrich Africans, the Europeans and Americans become bitter and jealous because they believe Africans should remain poor. They even fund activists to fight the industrialisation of Africa.

This African madness about foreign football teams (especially from colonial brutes) while not being mad against police brutality, abuse of power, exploitation and grinding poverty, is one of the main reasons why liberating Africa has been difficult. To be liberated, Africans must liberate their MINDS and the illusions, fantasies and myths from and about the UK, Europe and America—and everything these imperialist regimes represent. Don’t bore me about “it’s sports” or “religion.” I call it MENTAL COLONIZATION! Now, go ahead and have a breakdown on @X!
