We are not talking about small numbers of people here. We are talking about millions. And as Britain’s Muslim population is forecast to rise from 6% to 17% by the year 2050. And to then 26%+ by the end of the century, these attitudes, which are often more strongly held among younger Muslims, will only spread. Somebody in politics or media has to start a national conversation about what Muslims in Britain think and what it means for our country in the years ahead.
