Nico Robin isn’t just a character to me anymore she’s actual perfection, crafted with so much care and depth it hurts. Every scene with her feels so intentional and her silence I now understand was always heavy with meaning. I feel like an absolute MORON for ever doubting her, for even a second. She was always this way ever since the beginning. Even in Alabasta I could tell she carried so much trauma and grief on her back yet still chose kindness. She chose loyalty. She chose the love for her friends. She doesn’t just give up her dream for them either BUT LITERALLY gives up her life without hesitation. That is loyalty in its purest, most devastating form.
