📢⚠️ There is a traffic accident on Highway 17 going north which is why traffic is not moving from the NAS Jax Air Show parking area. The accident has been moved to the side of the street but it will take awhile to get traffic moving.

Be advised NAS Jacksonville will not be allowing any further admittance to the NAS Jacksonville Air Show today because we have reached our parking capacity. Please follow law enforcement traffic instructions. The gates will reopen at 9 a.m. tomorrow with another air show day.

🌀📢 Now set Condition of Readiness (COR) 5 resume normal operations. All Naval Air Station Jacksonville tenant commands set Condition of Readiness 5, by 4:00 P.M. Thursday, Oct. 10. 🚦Main Gate entrance has resumed normal operations and access for inbound/outbound traffic.

NAS Jacksonville remains closed until damage assessment teams can survey the station. All building managers should report to the base at this time. We will keep everyone updated as we get more information. #nasjax
