Senator Lindsey Graham was an American patriot who dedicated his life to serving our country. I am incredibly saddened by his unexpected passing. I am praying for his family, loved ones, and constituents in South Carolina as they moirn his loss.

During a House Appropriations Subcommittee hearing with @DHSgov Secretary Mullin and Deputy Secretary Edgar, I asked about the Department of Homeland Security’s work to combat cargo theft and organized crime nationwide. Cargo theft is a real problem that threatens our national security. I was proud to join the City of Neptune Beach for this year’s Jarboe June Jubilee in celebration of America’s 250th birthday. We live in the best country in the world and it’s wonderful to see Americans coming together to celebrate our freedoms and rich history. God Bless America!

This week, the @HouseAppropsGOP passed the Fiscal Year 2027 Defense Bill out of full committee. This bill provides the resources necessary for the Department of War to maintain its readiness and protect our nation. It invests in our critical munitions, military industrial base, counter-drug operations, and, most importantly, our warfighters. This bill brings home huge wins for Northeast Florida.

It’s official, all TWELVE @HouseAppropsGOP funding bills have passed out of full committee! Once again, we worked hard to deliver for the American people. These bills move forward President Trump’s America First agenda while restoring fiscal responsibility. House Republicans remain committed to responsibly funding the government, while eliminating wasteful spending, unleashing American energy, securing our southern border, removing illegal immigrants, and supporting our brave American servicemen and women.

Four years ago today, SCOTUS returned the decision of abortion to the voters by overturning Roe v. Wade. I’m encouraged by the progress we've made to defederalize this horrific act that has robbed millions of unborn children of their God-given right to life.

Today marks the 54th anniversary of Title IX, which secured the right for women nationwide to compete and succeed in athletics. I am committed to fighting to protect women's sports.

As a proud father and grandfather, I know that fatherhood means stepping up, providing love and support to your children, and setting a good example for generations to come. Wishing all the dads across our great nation a Happy Father’s Day! Thank you for all you do.

The American bald eagle has served as our national symbol on the Great Seal of the United States since 1782. Since then, we have celebrated these majestic and powerful birds for the strength, freedom, bravery, beauty, and perseverance that they represent. Happy American Eagles Day!

On June 19, 1865, enslaved Americans were informed of their freedom, fulfilling the promise made in President Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation. Today, we remember and honor those who fought for freedom, liberty, and equal opportunity for all Americans. Happy Juneteenth!

House Republicans put an end to the political games Congressional Democrats have been playing with our homeland security. I was proud to vote YES on the Secure America Act to fully fund the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol. Every Democrat voted against providing resources to secure our border, arrest dangerous illegal immigrants, combat fentanyl trafficking, and keep Americans safe. A secure border is not a luxury; it’s something we must fight to protect.

Today marks 249 years since our stars and stripes first flew over the land of the free and the home of the brave. Today, our star-spangled banner yet waves. Happy U.S. Flag Day to all! 🇺🇸

Wishing a very happy 251st birthday to the @USArmy! I am forever grateful for the brave servicemen and women who have put on a uniform to defend our freedoms at home and abroad. May we strive each day to be worthy of their sacrifices.

Fun fact: Florida has more landscape companies than any other state in the country and Florida’s nursery and landscape industry employs over 279,000 Floridians! That’s why I was happy to meet with the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association in Washington this week to talk about issues their industry faces, the importance of legal temporary immigration programs, and the need for a reliable workforce. We must continue to support Florida’s growers, nurseries, and landscapers.

Every dollar lost to fraud is a dollar stolen from a working parent, a child in need, or a taxpayer who already paid the bill. I voted YES on the Stop Child Care Scams Act and Preventing Waste, Fraud and Abuse in TANF Act to crack down on waste, fraud, and abuse within child care and assistance programs nationwide. Child care fraud alone costs American taxpayers at least $600 million a year and diverts critical resources away from working families who actually need them. This week, House Republicans voted to protect American families, not bankroll fraud.

Today marks the 82nd anniversary of D-Day. Today, we remember and honor the American heroes who parachuted into the fields and stormed the beaches of Normandy to protect the free world. Let us never forget their sacrifices.
