Fulfilled something of a dream o never knew I had had today. First fish of the season, on the dry, a March Brown hatch. From now where, a suddenly blizzard brought this lovely fish to the surface. Golden and welcome. Pity it’s April☺️

@Torgoch Is much of it worth fishing though Wynn? They have an awful lot of scrappy water from what I've seen. A case of quantity over quality?

A couple of days on the river. As usual for the time of year, things not really in full swing yet and a subsurface approach proving most fruitful. Some good fish caught on both days.

A few images from Twistleton Scar above Ingleton on Friday. Unfortunately I had to wait in for a broadband engineer (who didn't show up), so much of the snow had melted by the time I got there.

@Walker_2603 @Monnowriverman Agree with both of you. Trying to keep our kids as active as possible. In my opinion the biggest evil they face is texting and WhatsApp. Things that used to be said behind our backs are forced in their faces now in the most heartless way.

Goredale Scar. I recall a school trip one year when the whole class had to scramble up the waterfall and into the valley beyond. I imagine such an outing would be a risk assessment nightmare nowadays!
