Canadas ‘stranded assets’ are EVs. - The Liberals wasted 50-60 billion we can’t afford on an inept net zero ideology competing with China and the US. All of those assets are stranded now - and they will never be investable again. The money is lost; cash that could have built schools and a real military is gone, burned at the stake of green vanity. Meanwhile our European allies now badly need all the oil and gas the Liberals cancelled infrastructure projects on for a decade. After the Russian invasion they even told Germany and Japan there was no ‘business case’ - after they killed that case with taxes & regulations making the economy un-investable. So now the world wants everything they spent a decade trying to ‘strand’ : oil and gas and mining and forestry and agriculture and manufacturing. We’ve lost a decade of essential building and investment in the infrastructure needed to get it to global markets. All those empty EV factories? Stranded assets that are a testament to how badly Ottawa has stranded Canada. The govt needs to quit burning our money on their fringe green ideology and it taxes and regulation so real companies can hire and build global market access to provide the world with what they really want.

Liberals are not interested in negotiating a trade deal with the US. If they do, their "greatest crisis since WW2" goes away, and people will focus more on rising unemployment and living costs.
