💐With a heavy heart, we learn of Werner Nold's recent passing (1933-2024). His mark on Canadian cinema will not be forgotten. "Werner Nold was one of the NFB’s most outstanding craftspeople. Over a remarkably creative period spanning nearly four decades—from 1961 to 1997—he elevated the role of editing in Quebec cinema. He edited more than 100 titles, including some of Quebec’s greatest films.
