Great to see Disney continuing to show its interest in Web 3 and Digital Collectibles through this new platform! Took the opportunity to read through the TOS and wanted to point out some of the findings that I think are worth noting. 1) You will be able to "self custody" your assets on the platform. "You will also need to use the Dapper® electronic wallet or another supported electronic wallet, which will enable you to purchase and store Digital Tokens that you collect or purchase via the App. Each Digital Token is a Non-Fungible Token (an “NFT”) on the Flow™ blockchain network (the “Flow Network”)." Similarly to what we saw with McFarlane Digital earlier this year, users will directly mint and store their assets on a Dapper, "or other" supported wallet. 2) Does this mean the NFTs are interoperable? (iv) Purchasing Digital Tokens. You can purchase Digital Tokens (thereby acquiring the right to utilize that Digital Token’s associated Disney content as permitted herein) in three ways: (a) by buying a Digital Token from us on the App; (b) by buying packs of Digital Tokens from us on the App (each, a “Pack”); or (c) by buying one or more Digital Tokens from other users in the App’s marketplace (the “Marketplace”). At this time, it appears that similarly to other platforms with Disney IP, you will only be able to utilize the approved application or marketplace to trade your collectibles. 3) Has Disney created its own NFT / Collectible Platform? "Chase, collect and trade digital pins from your favorite Disney, Pixar and STAR WARS™ characters. Operated by Dapper Labs, an official licensee of Disney." According to the Disney Pinnacle Twitter account, this project is operated by Dapper, "an official licensee of Disney". It appears that Dapper has paid Disney for the licensing rights to this specific IP and has created a platform to market and sell these items. Overall, I think that this is an incredible step forward for the Digital Collectibles space. The fact that Disney continues to license out their IP shows their commitment to web 3 and collecting in this new medium. So the question that everyone wants answered, is this competition for VeVe? Absolutely not! As a matter of fact, this is fantastic news for VeVe, Cryptoys, and Disney Pinnacle. Each of these projects has their own offerings with their own unique spins, but the thing that they have in common is that they cater to Disney's absolutely massive audience, who all enjoy collecting in their own ways. Users will now have yet another way to be onboarded to Digital Collecting through a very popular medium in pins, and will then be able to check out offerings on other platforms that also have Disney IP, and vice versa. The last 2 years have shown us that no project or industry is immune from significant financial down turn, and when new companies enter the fold, it provides the opportunity for everyone to learn from and grow together. I want to display it, but I currently don’t have much space where it won’t get easily knocked over or in the way of something else. My collection will remain mostly digital 😂

What is the better way to collect: Physical or Digital? With @veve_official it doesn’t matter. I can collect in both mediums and get the best of both worlds in the process. When an unstoppable force meets an immovable object, the reaction is explosive. The future is here 💙

@VeVeViral @KayWChamp I think exchanges announcing a new listing during a bull is plenty Sustained marketing would def be more effective, but there is a study that coins increase 73% in price after 1 month listed on Binance I could be remembering wrong, but word of mouth goes far during 🐂 markets

@KayWChamp Yes that’s more so what I would like to see things like powered by $OMI or casual mention of how OMI can be used to amplify ones collector experience in #VeVe and the VeVeVerse And of course big exchanges = best possible marketing for a token

Big corporations market chocolate more before Valentine’s Day, sports jerseys as their season opens and jackets in the winter. I hope Ecomi takes a similar approach and strategically lists and markets $OMI during the post halving bull run 😤⭕️
