Meanwhile ai and crypto influencers are celebrating a simple feature Anthropic stole from OpenClaw… They just don’t get it yet. And it’s actually surprising to see OpenAI support open source more and more… Consumers should have choice. Especially if it’s your data.

opencode 1.3.0 will no longer autoload the claude max plugin we did our best to convince anthropic to support developer choice but they sent lawyers it's your right to access services however you wish but it is also their right to block whoever they want we can't maintain an official plugin so it's been removed from github and marked deprecated on npm appreciate our partners at openai, github and gitlab who are going the other direction and supporting developer freedom

If you have ADHD + OpenClaw this is mandatory Finally took the plunge with my 🦞 to setup telegram topics. In a few days I'll know if it's making things worse or better. The idea is you can keep sessions cleaner by focusing your conversations in 1 context window/1 session.

It’s actually crazy to see crypto influencers twerking for anthropic and ditching open source aka Openclaw. You would think they would understand owning your own data and having the ability to run models locally is the ideal method. Much to learn, they still have.

@chooserich Yeah they do. Running a model locally too. It’s like crypto vs fiat. If you don’t own your keys it’s not your cheese. Same principle.

@Zeneca It’s just as important as Linux and its opensource. You can use your own models locally. There’s still a lot of updates on OpenClaw too. Nvidia just added support for NemoClaw. Still loads of merit - same as crypto vs fiat.

I used Claude Cowork for the 1st time today and it's everything I wanted OpenClaw to be. Using it for basic tasks like researching the best local coffee shops in my area, finding their hours, menus, Google reviews, and summarizing it for me. Then just watching it get to work doing different searches, using JavaScript to write me a doc, then auto-adding it to my Google Drive. It actually tells me what it's doing and what it still has left to do like OpenClaw was supposed to do like 10 updates ago. Did the same thing with photography for my wife, then had it create a pitch deck for me. I've put off using it for this long for security concerns (just didn’t wanna give AI access to my desktop), but I finally have a good burner for it. I see the possibilities are endless and I'm about to get crazy with it. Any recommendations that you've found helpful?
