I give my parents a lot of credit for breaking this cycle with me. Virtually every boy in America at the time was circumcised & it took courage to resist the social pressure.
As a result my sisters & I did not circumcise our boys either

Day 479: I went to a Pokémon event for the first time. here are my takeaways:
1) Most vendors were selling 20–40% above market, even on relatively liquid cards.
2) If you want to trade in or sell, they usually offer only 70–85% of market value.
3) You really need to compare prices and negotiate. For example, Perfect Order ETBs ranged from €65 to €90
Investment-wise, Pokémon cards are probably not that great anymore. The buy-sell spreads are bigger than a currency exchange in an airport.
That being said the event was fun and I bought a Charizard

China is attempting to do the impossible. The construction of 123 km underwater tunnel, the Bohai Strait Tunnel is on and it will cost China $42 billion.
On completion, the high speed transport system will reduce travel time between Dalian and Yantai from 8 hours to only 40 minutes. It will be the longest underwater beating 53.85 km Seikan Tunnel.

Chinese maianland's Taiwan Affairs Office envisions a "road trip to Beijing" after peaceful reunification. Spokesperson Zhu Fenglian today said the Strait Rapid Channel and Beijing-Taipei Expressway would be built, allowing Taiwanese to drive from the island to the capital. She promised a "round-the-island" high-speed rail and infrastructure upgrades.
