Instead of delivering reliable service, Nkosi’s companies delivered invoices. Eskom officials signed off on contracts that priced relays at R50,000 each, when the market price was between R180 and R450. This manipulation resulted in a direct financial loss of R73,650,994.87 to Eskom.

Men are really So Important. The older I get, the more I recognize the value of masculine structure. Men fix things, bring stability, bring logic when emotions are high, protect us, help map out a solid game plan when we’re lost. They bring a type of balance and support that just hits different. Good and intentional men don’t always get the credit they deserve❤️. May God bless all the Good men out there.🙌

The continued lack of any trace of Jerry Boshoga (46) is deeply troubling. Boshoga was kidnapped in Centurion in November 2024 and his family received videos showing him being assaulted, along with a ransom demand of R10-million. There has been no trace of him since the incident. While law enforcement may be actively pursuing leads behind the scenes, the absence of visible progress is a serious concern because time is a critical factor in kidnapping investigations. The longer a victim remains unaccounted for, the greater the risk to their safety and the more difficult it becomes to secure reliable evidence or recover them unharmed. This situation may point to the involvement of a well-organised criminal syndicate, which often operates with a level of sophistication that makes detection and tracing far more challenging. The prolonged silence creates anxiety and erode public confidence, particularly in a country where kidnapping cases have become increasingly prominent. The lack of progress highlights the need for intensified and coordinated action across all relevant law enforcement units, including Crime Intelligence, the Hawks, and specialised anti-kidnapping teams. This race against time, and the absence of answers at this stage should trigger heightened urgency, increased resource allocation, and consistent pressure to ensure that every possible avenue is being pursued to locate Jerry Boshoga and bring those responsible to justice. Someone, somewhere, somehow knows something. Call #CrimeStop @SAPoliceService on 08600 10111.

Dramatic video footage of the shootout last week has emerged… WATCH: ORMONDE SHOOTING SUMMARY Two businessmen were killed during a brazen armed robbery in Ormonde, Johannesburg, while transporting cash in a convoy. Yusuf Modan showed exceptional bravery by turning back to assist colleagues under attack, despite the danger. Abdul Hamid Moosa had already been fatally wounded, and Modam was later shot and killed while confronting the attackers. A security guard was seriously injured. The heavily armed suspects ambushed the convoy, leading to a high-speed chase and shootout. One attacker was killed, another injured, and the rest fled with stolen cash.

No arrests have been made as yet after two men were shot dead in Ormonde, Johannesburg, this week. Shaheed Abdul Hamid Moosa and Hafidh Yusuf Modan, were shot and killed during a brazen cash robbery on Thursday. The pair were escorting a large cash consignment when they were ambushed by suspects travelling in multiple high-end vehicles. Reports indicate a high-speed chase began on the M1 highway before the attackers forced the convoy to stop on Crownwood Road, leading to a shootout. One security guard was seriously injured, while one suspect was killed and another wounded. The assailants fled the scene with bags of cash.
