This is one of the most jaw-dropping, chilling interviews I have seen. Watch this Rabbi from London, respond to question about the terror stabbing in Golders Green!

Jet 2 - fight on plane, mid air. From Antalya - London Gatwick. Woke up and see someone getting punched in the face after being aggressive and shouting disrespectful & racial insults This was the aftermath, Pilot ended up landing the craft 2 hours into flight in Bulgaria to get local police to remove the passengers. Not the journey home I was expecting

“The race comes first. The Mass fits around it. The body dresses for the race. The church receives what the race leaves over. And when someone says, ‘This is backwards,’ the mob arrives to explain that the real sin is noticing.” i.e. The scandalized is the real scandalizer

🚨 NEW AT HIRAETH! The Death of Catholic Modesty Oklahoma City’s “Runner’s Mass” was a public catechism in irreverence, and the reaction showed how deeply Catholics have forgotten the sacred. @Sara520S @JacquiDeevoy1 Well exactly. I would always try natural remedies before taking lifelong meds. But hey, if you’ve got shares in Pharma that’s not going to boost your dividends!

I told the GP I was off the meds and would be controlling in naturally from now on. I may as well have been taking to a walk. Here’s the response:

@FionaMarch1998 @PhineusPhineus Do you know nothing about infection control? When I trained it was a disciplinary procedure if you were seen in hospital uniform outside the hospital. Quite right too. They are clinical uniforms, change out of them on site.

If you attend Mass, dress respectfully. If you came from work in scrubs & it's the only Mass you can attend, pls still come. If you are passing a Church & want to visit Jesus but are in capris & a t-shirt, stop in. Do not let the X fashion police stop you from being w Christ. 1/2

@Sara520S @JacquiDeevoy1 Right, so they tell you not to eat grapefruit when you’re on meds because grapefruit lowers BP. Therefore taking it with the meds will make you have HYPOtension. Too low BP & you’ll be fainting etc

Seeing the responses to this post of mine has been eye-opening. First, my post is responding to a rage-baiting engagement farming, religious influencing account. Second, how many of you who are shrieking about modesty are the same who speak out against Muslims and the hijab?
Fr. Chris Vorderbruggen@FatherChrisVor1

Christians, hear me: if you come to Mass or prayer and spend it judging others, what they wear or why they came, then in my judgment it would be better not to come. Pray, fast, examine your conscience, and return prepared rather than stand there with that in your heart.

@FatherChrisVor1 @ChrisB3889 Why are you even online so much? Partaking in petty point scoring retorts. Is this an example of the sacredness of Holy Orders? Extolling other believers “easy there tiger”.

@ChrisB3889 For the average person, the ordinary way of evangelizing is by living a Christian life and raising up a Christian family. Not whatever this is online.

@FatherChrisVor1 @EaMast The difference is when the rage baiting and influence farming is being led by a priest against his flock. Truly strange behaviour.

@NHSobserver @matthewdmarsden @Sola_Requiem It is a marathon, 20K-30K people at the staring line. You are taking public transport - what do you do with your bag? Leave it on the ground somewhere, unlikely after the Boston Marathon incident. Focus must be on the event, not dressing for church.

@FatherChrisVor1 I don’t come to Holy Mass to judge others this is a forum which asks your opinion. It’s a pity you tell people not to come if they happen to think that revealing your body parts is disrespectful to God, Holy Mother the Church & other parishioners.

@Sola_Requiem This is a logical fallacy. Most people do dress respectfully for mass but when there is a marathon going on, would you rather the participants just not go to mass?

@CHS_SC843 @honorablesaint What, delights in the vision of you in shorts and flip flops? You could wear a long floaty cover up dress and still be beach ready, but I guess you’re making some kind of protest or point?

I freely admit I wear flip flops to mass. My church is literally less than 500 feet from a very popular beach. Sometimes we pack a picnic basket in the back of the car, attend mass, and then picnic on the beach. I’m definitely in a t-shirt, khaki shorts, and flip flops for those days. And God, I think, delights in that!

Serious question for all Catholics. I want to understand this. It is in my estimation that we should be able to wear whatever we want to mass. Men should be able to wear cut offs, hats, flip flops, bathing suits, etc. Women can wear yoga pants, booty shorts, sports bras, tank tops, etc. If you don't think we should allow that, why? Do you think Christ would care that Clarissa shows up in booty shorts and a tank top? Heck we're just glad she's there for Christ. This is all acceptable attire in normal public. So why not mass? So if this is the case, then why should we care about modesty? Christ doesn't. If he did we'd make sure there is an enforced dress code. Why is modesty such a big thing in Catholicism? Christ meets us where we are. Does a place of worship need outward reverence, or just spiritual and internal reverence? I want a full logical layout of anyones argument as to why this photo should not be the norm in every mass. If you disagree with that premise then I expect a good logical argument that holds up against critique. But it seems to me based on all of the comments to Rachel's post that most Catholics agree you can dress this way for mass on any given sunday.

So, I’m sitting here gowned and cannula’d for the past hour and a half awaiting the lung biopsy. Today is April 27th. I get a text from the hospital that I have a new letter. I log in, jump through the hoops and I find this. Read carefully, I missed it at first. The NHS hasn’t quite managed to smoothly integrate technology into their system, have they.
