@Emoralityy @ReiRancour @AstaPilled Im sure they purposefully placed the ring to make it look like a cats eye from a distance, however they zoom in and you can see clearly that it is not a cats eye, as you can tell from him having a normal pupil in the center vs the cats eye it transitions to.

@Emoralityy @ReiRancour @AstaPilled His eyes don't have cat pupils, he has a normal pupil that you can see when it zooms in on his eye. The cat pupil is only for a few frames because it's transitioning to the cat on the moon. He does have a solid ring spinning around the pupil alongside all the names of the Aeons.
