It is with deep sadness that I share news of the passing of my friend and colleague, Dr Chris Dobson. Dr Dobson had been unwell for a short period of time and passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday.  As a dedicated physician and gastroenterologist in Cornwall, he touched the lives of tens of thousands of patients throughout his 23 years of service. His affable nature, sense of humour and his ability to relate with people endeared him to many. He supported me as a first year registrar and it was his friendship that prompted my move to Cornwall. Dr Dobson leaves behind his wife and 2 children, and a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be sorely missed and he will never be forgotten 💔💐

@TfL alarmed by lack of URGENT response at Waterloo station after a member of the public fell half way down an escalator, repetitive head injury and loss of consciousness! Advice given by staff was to move, no ambulance called as “nobody will come” - Please look into this!
