NJ ZIP will enable businesses of all sizes, with a special emphasis on micro and small businesses, to replace their current medium duty vehicles with zero emission alternatives. 3/4

Also honored that @NJDEPMcCabe was able to participate for the vote on this on her very last day as Commissioner, a fitting capstone to the partnership between EDA & DEP under her leadership

We look forward to a new day working cooperatively and productively again with the federal government to address complex environmental issues for the good of New Jersey and the rest of the country.

The Trump Administration, as an example of one of its many misguided environmental policies, has demonstrated complete lack of leadership in requiring all states to curb these pollutants, putting New Jerseyans’ health at risk.

We stand together firmly resolved to fight for protective federal standards for these pollutants to ensure all states are held to the same tough standards because air pollution does not stop at state lines. 3/3

Our coalition of forward-thinking states finds it egregious for the Trump Administration to maintain the status quo, despite the obvious health risks. 2/3

The Murphy Administration is committed to improving New Jersey’s air quality, particularly in urban areas that for too long have been disproportionately burdened by pollution and environmental injustices. 1/3
Attorney General Jennifer Davenport@NewJerseyOAG

.@EPA's failure to strengthen air quality standards – in the midst of a respiratory pandemic - is one more example of the Admin’s disregard for science, environmental justice communities and the law. We'll be fighting for your health until the last hour: bit.ly/2LMFV1I

@GovMurphy and I are proud of New Jersey’s accomplishments in leading the nation by taking strong health- and science-based actions to protect the health of our residents from PFAS chemicals. 2/3

Federally owned facilities in New Jersey that polluted the environment through the use of aqueous film-forming foams must do the right thing by properly investigating and remediating PFAS-contaminated water supplies. 1/3
Attorney General Jennifer Davenport@NewJerseyOAG

Due to the persistent use of firefighting foam, toxic chemicals have contaminated water supplies on & around US military bases in NJ, putting the health of our military & residents at risk. We're calling on the feds to clean up their decades-old mess: bit.ly/2KgrVwX

Because we have followed the science, listened to our communities, committed ourselves to the cause of equity, and enforced our environmental laws, New Jerseyans will breathe cleaner air, drink safer water, and enjoy our abundant natural resources for years to come.

The honor of leading DEP through this progressive transformation has been the highlight of my 40+ year career in environmental protection. DEP’s work over the last three years has set a national example for environmental protection.
