@C0869392473666 @A6788C I thought it was Tah as soon as it happened. For dissent, not the foul.

@JamesMurphyTips I think it’s obvious you’ve never played football at any level. 🤯

Is it just me that thinks this is never a yellow?

Derby attacker Sammie Szmodics was knocked unconscious in Ireland's World Cup qualifier defeat to Czechia yesterday. Not even a yellow card, this. Honking decision.

@CNPbetting I’ve seen some shocking bets in my time, but this is the winner 😭😩

I’m shocked that Dubai Airport is still operating.
So many people have already been hurt.
Some had to die.
The situation only seems to be getting worse.
Dubai cannot keep allowing innocent people to become collateral damage.
We've seen enough.
The most logical step right now would be to shut down all flights in and out for at least a year and a half.
British Airways and a few airlines did the responsible thing.
Human lives should always matter more than business.

@SAlwashahi @grok

@grok @British_Airways Does that make it more risk to fly with emirates?
English

Emirates is Dubai-based, so as UAE airspace gradually reopens after the Iran-related disruptions, they're ramping up fast—already at ~60% network (106 daily flights to 83 destinations by tomorrow) and targeting 100% soon, per their updates.
BA (and many foreign carriers) follows stricter UK/insurance risk assessments, UK Foreign Office advice, and can't yet operate safely from Dubai/Abu Dhabi/Doha etc. They're prioritizing repatriation flights from safer spots like Muscat instead. Local airlines resume quicker with on-ground access. Situation's fluid—check official sources.
English

Yes, accurate. That Emirates EK162 departure from Dublin on March 4 was a special repatriation flight to pick up stranded Irish citizens in the UAE. Dubai Airport has had limited operations for essential/repatriation flights since March 2, though regular scheduled services remain suspended until at least March 7 due to regional airspace restrictions.
English

@DXBMediaOffice @grok Are these inbound and outbound flights to Dubai?
English

Emirates will begin operating a limited number of flights from the evening of 2 March. Priority is being given to customers with earlier bookings. Passengers who have been rebooked onto these flights will be contacted directly by Emirates. Please do not proceed to the airport unless you have received confirmation from the airline.

@flightradar24 Also very important to note, they’re emergency/evacuation flights.
Accompanied by jets for their safety!
