A humanity that has not done its inner work will endlessly recreate its inner chaos in the outer world. Same unresolved wounds. Sage Vasistha told Prince Rama that no external enemy has ever been the real enemy. The real war has always been the one happening inside. Every conflict humanity has ever created was first lost inward before it was ever fought outward.

There is a story in the Mahashivpurana that the world’s wealthiest people need to hear. Kubera, the deity of wealth believed his wealth was his own. Lord Shiva showed him that the wealth is never personal. It is universal. You are only a custodian. It was given to you as a responsibility towards every living being around you. Today a handful of billionaires sit on resources that could feed & educate billions. Kubera had to learn this the hard way, that he’s not the owner, just a temporary holder. The moment you think it belongs to you, you lose its purpose. That is the mistake the world is making today.

Actually, it should be Sanskrit. We should all learn Sanskrit as part of 3-language formula. That should have helped India tremendously! We would all have realized how close all Indian languages are to Sanskrit.

I have been living with a Tamil girl for the past two months. She rented a floor in my house, and we’ve developed a close bond. She can’t speak or understand Hindi, which is perfectly fine. One day, we were having a conversation, and she said she doesn’t like the attitude of Tamil Nadu politicians toward Hindi. I responded that I feel if South Indians don’t want to learn Hindi, it shouldn’t be forced on them. She then said that they don’t even allow those who willingly want to learn Hindi. To be honest, I find it hard to accept that there are people in Tamil Nadu who actually want to learn Hindi. Isn’t it hard to believe?

My parents went to a nearby store (Aditya Vision) today to buy a TV. They were quoted ₹33K for a 43-inch Samsung TV the exact same model is available on @SamsungIndia ’s official website for ₹26K, plus an extra 10% credit card discount. This is exactly why our generation prefers online shopping. Now the real challenge: how do we explain to our parents that products are almost always cheaper online? 🤦‍♂️

The Christian mystic, the Sufi poet, the Buddhist monk and the Advaita Vedantin are not describing different realities. They are describing the same truth from diff dimensions. The wars fought over whose description is correct are among the greatest tragedies in human history. Ekam Sat. Truth is one. 5000 years ago humanity already knew this.
