has it been confirmed yet how long that matey was stood by the tree before he was spotted? if he was only there 5 minutes, how much would he have even seen? for all we know he turned up as they were doing laps round the pitch. so many factors you have to take into consideration

Boro at it again, the alleged "spy" got caught b4 the game, yes it's against the rules, but it didn't impact the final result.

🚨 Middlesbrough statement on disciplinary hearing: “Middlesbrough FC notes the decision of the Disciplinary Commission not to permit the club to intervene in the proceedings brought by the EFL against Southampton FC. “The club regrets that outcome, given we are directly affected by the matters under consideration and hold relevant factual evidence as to the events in question and their competitive impact. “The conduct at issue, namely the observation and recording of our training session ahead of a fixture of such significance, goes to the heart of sporting integrity and fair competition. As embarrassing as spygate is for #saintsfc, IMO the way Boro have conducted themselves is also pathetic.
Boro should submit their evidence and let the commission decide fairly instead of leaking unfounded rumours to the press to pressure them into giving a decision they like.
