Karma. Definition: when UNM tries to weasel out of a rivalry by moving to one game a year instead of home and home, then loses the one match up each year since! Suck it lobos!

Sanchez tanked at UNLV before NIL. NIL has made it harder to recruit and a lot of college coaches are still learning how to manage it. It becomes harder to keep good players at a smaller school if they play well cause the money calls from elsewhere.

Point taken. But Kill had a history of building winners. Sanchez bombed at UNLV but I do agree that teams have been competitive. I’ll even go out on a limb and say if Sanchez wins the last 2 out of three he probably deserves one more year.

Fife is a great QB especially compared to what we had last year! He may not be pinpoint 100% accurate but he plays smart and that’s what we need there!

I have no idea how any body in Aggie nation could think fife is worse than some of what we had to go through in the past. We can't be surface level and just look at the numbers i know what I'm seeing this kid is throwing some dots when he has time and the o line is improving a lot this half

@migueljuantabo Even if it’s bad football I have stuck out games where NMSU is getting slaughtered including the game we were down 21 going into the 4th quarter against Idaho and won in overtime with the “ankleception”. Bad football isn’t a reason to leave. It can turn around

This is disgusting. So tired of seeing the students up and leave at half time instead of giving the game a full atmosphere for 60 minutes.

Just to build on this everyone I know the students are young and they get bored easily. But the students have a big opportunity to build something here that NMSU hasn’t had and that’s a REAL college game day atmosphere. I just want to see the true spirit of this school!

If they can work those kinks out, I think they’ll have a pretty okay season!

Take away from tonight:
Logan Fife did pretty good for a first game of the year.
Defense needs to step up a bit. But looked pretty organized
Offense needs to finish drives. They played well but the run game struggled and a bit too many passes dropped.

@AZAggie59 Ppl would be stupid to not see the drastic rebuild @CoachJHoot has done in 2 years at the helm. We were literally rock bottom and he has carried us back to competitive. I think the thing I am hoping to see next year is a bit more consistency. If we can get that we will be a force

What people don't realize is that Coach Hooten agreed to take on a program that sunk to the bottom of the ocean and revive it. We (Aggie fans) need to understand that this has taken a toll on his family in order to bring this great program back. I commend his fortitude and determination. Takes a special person to do that and we got him!

I can't believe how good this timeline is! Follow this chain of events: 1. Reuters writes hit piece against DOGE. 2. Musk tweets, 'I wonder what Reuters are being paid? 3. DOGE uncovers Department of Defence contract paying Reuters for 'Large Scale Social Deception. It's crazy that this is happening. It's INSANE that it's playing out in the public square!
