Just Peachy

5 years ago today, all of us lost a very dear friend when Michael 'Doc' Thompson left the earth. In my 30+ years in broadcasting, I've known nobody who wanted those around him to become successful more than Doc did. Doc constantly offered encouragement and guidance in a business where most offer none. He is greatly missed. His knowledge, wit, and laughter are irreplaceable, and the world is worse off without him in it. It was an honor to know and to work with him, and it is an honor to broadcast in his former time slot. What a crazy, crazy world he left behind. If he were here today, no doubt we'd all be up in that clock tower with him. Please say a prayer for Yuna and the boys today as we remember Doc.
