My prediction for the 2024 presidential election. I have simulations that predict a multitude of outcomes, including Harris winning… but this is what I believe is going to be the outcome. Trump will win the electoral college & will barely win the popular vote by less than 0.5%.

@conorjrogers Such an uneducated take. There are over 200 house districts in the PA state Congress and quite literally non flipped in the last election

No one is ready for the real solution to Gerrymandering: A return to the Constitution's original standard of 1 Member of Congress for every 30,000 Americans, resulting in an 11,000-member House with city-council sized districts so small you can't Gerrymander them if you tried.

The Sox are losing to the Yankees again but don’t worry. You can get your 27 championships plate at the Red Sox team store now! (via @gidious89)

I'm all for cutting taxes, but towns - and the taxpayers therein - (for better or worse) wish to fund local services, and they will tax SOMETHING. "Just don't have schools" is a political non starter, so you need a concrete proposal of what gets taxed instead.
CininNh@CininNewH

The NH Legislature got us out of paying Interest & Dividends taxes, now it's time to get us out of paying property taxes on unrealized gains. What do you say, @donald4nh @travis4nh @Granger4NH @victoria4nh @mdrew4nh @KristinNobleNH @Katelyn4NH @avard_kevin @Osborne4NH ?

@RulerofNV Yeah, for sure. Mets fans are also typically exclusive to Queens first, then the other boroughs and the direct suburbs - all generally more left wing. Yankees, while prominent in the city, are the primary team for more conservative upstate and rest of country tbh

I've noticed that in NYC, being a Yankees fan is Right Wing Coded while being a Mets fan is generally seen as Left Wing Coded

@ChrisPappasNH Revolving door? He has been out of political office for nearly 20 years… you’ve been in elected office without a day break for over a decade. Insane take Chris.

My opponent is a prime example of why we need to shut down the revolving door in DC. He voted to serve corporate special interests time and again. And then he landed lucrative positions after he was voted out.

@mattforney @dorothy1961 There were a million Republican votes for Massachusetts senator in 2024, there are 9 congressional districts, and republicans make up 40% of the voter base. That’s a bullshit argument and you know it.

@dorothy1961 There is very little gerrymandering going on in New England. Look at a county map of, say, Massachusetts. Almost every county votes blue. The issue is that those states don't have enough seats to accommodate the few Republican enclaves that exist

The first mid-decade redistricting of the 2020s was when New York passed a gerrymandered map in 2024. This was after they had tried to cram all the state's Republicans into four out of 26 districts only to get sued for violating the state constitution and a special master was appointed to draw fair maps. In the 2022 midterms, the extreme unpopularity of both Joe Biden and Kathy Hochul saw the Republicans gain four of New York's seats (the net change was only +3 due to New York losing a Republican district in the Buffalo suburbs). This was the best result the GOP had in the state in decades. A year later, the Democratic state government sued to replace the fair map with a slightly-less gerrymandered map and the Republicans lost three seats in 2024 despite getting roughly the same percentage of the vote. So no, YOU literally started this fight. Joke's on you, though, at least in New York; population loss from primarily Republican upstate has stalled while people are fleeing NYC like cockroaches from a floodlight. The next Census will force the Democrats to drop one or two seats from the NYC area.

Needless to say, there’s no way Virginia’s redistricting referendum would’ve passed if Trump didn’t fire the opening salvo in Texas. In fact, Dems are now projected to HANDILY win the mid-decade redistricting fight this cycle. Play with fire, don’t cry if you get burned.

I didn't say anything about this at first but, the mo was the same in all those incidents they all said they were drinking heavily and don't remember much of it, one women did say she woke up while he was on top of her and said no but, passed out again! This sounds way to much like rohypnol to me! It sounds like he was slipping them roofies, that would explain their behavior afterwards! I'd be checking to see if someone was supplying them to him!

True story: I used to be so addicted to scratch offs that I lived in an apartment building that was attached to a 7/11 and the employees had my cell phone number and they’d text me stuff like “dude just came in and lost 7 gold rush in a row you should get here now”

@angrybadger92 @davec_NH I remember when America wanted its young people to compete in the global marketplace. Now you're perfectly happy surrendering to Asia when it comes to technology and innovation. Has America lost its ambition?

NH changed the voting rules. Student ID is no longer accepted as ID to vote. Durham NH may actually have an honest election this November.
