I'm trying to get my head around the idea that writing Losing Ground, In Pursuit, What It Means to Be a Libertarian, Real Education, In Our Hands, Coming Apart, By the People, and Facing Reality plus writing dozens of op-eds and articles, speaking to hundreds of audiences, and making hundreds of media appearances does not constitute trying to mold the right. I'm a little hurt.

@JamesSurowiecki No, it's a minus factor, because outside of engineering schools and some of the ivies, most schools now practice affirmative action for boys. It isn't that they want to bolster the patriarchy, but most girls don't want to attend your school if the M/F ratio drops below ~4/6.

Yep. We’re witnessing the slow death of hypothesis-driven science, and (contrary to reports) this is mostly positive. It doesn’t mean ignoring biology; it means letting the data tell you what’s interesting, then designing experiments to validate and explore new patterns.
