A few years ago, Manchester City unveiled statues outside the Etihad Stadium to honour club legends Sergio Agüero, Vincent Kompany and David Silva. But many fans feel Yaya Touré deserves the same recognition. He played a huge role in turning City into the dominant force they are today and was central to many of the club’s biggest successes. It’s surprising that Yaya Touré still hasn’t been honoured in the same way.

@Smuggo49 Why though? A club bring a player in January but yeah sorry he can't play in a domestic cup competition. Why is a cup competition any different to the league? What if a club bought said player because of a number of key injuries? You just don't like it because it's City be honest

A player should not be allowed to play in the cup tournament again for the season after being knocked out of it. Simple.

@lewis_goodall I can't let my kids start life this much in debt and facing losing 9% of their monthly salary for life. So I'm going to have to find a way to support them if they want to go down this route.

The system we have now quite literally embeds the income and wealth inequalities HE is supposed to alleviate. It is outrageous and incredible that a progressive govt could describe it in any way as “fair.” Too many senior politicians today think we have Plan 1 loans. They just don’t understand it.

My generation have been saddled with a 9% graduate tax, further adding to our tax burden, which is at a 70 year high already. From £28k we have a marginal tax rate of 41%, which increases to 51% after £50k, and to 71% after £100k. Its crippling productivity. Why work?
