Anticompetitive behaviour is tolerated in healthcare. It increases costs to consumers, and negatively impacts on access to care and choice. Historically it has been supported by government and bureaucracy. It’s time for change @acccgovau @acnp_national @gedkearney @Mark_Butler_MP

As an Australian, I will not be told I cannot or should not own and operate my own business. I most certainly should not be blocked because of competitive fears. Do a great job, offer a great service, and you don’t need to worry so much about competition. It has to stop!

@meta4RN Yep and I have been getting vaccinated for 37yrs in my profession to protect me and the community. I am right behind choice. All choices in life come with consequences. That may be that you can’t do a particular job. I want to nurse. So I get jabbed. Follow the science.

Just a reminder: vaccines are not mandatory. For many jobs vaccination is a condition of employment, but there is freedom to choose whether you wish to meet that condition or find an alternative employer. No offence meant; hopefully none taken. Good luck. abc.net.au/news/2021-11-0…

Enjoyed this broad-ranging discussion on vaccine hesitancy in the clinic with Dr Caroline West, who also reflects on her experience in a clinic in a remote setting. We start with kids and the focus broadens to vaccine communication in general.
