@NickSchmidt Saw Grant's post. He pushes real-estate or bust as the only way. It's his model and how he made it. Don't listen to anyone is key. Know the market, know what drives it, and manage risk.

I don’t know when this market tops, but today Dave Portnoy mocked someone who said to buy the S&P here, Grant Cardone shared a chart with a 🚨 saying most over valued market (even though the chart didn’t have anything to do with valuations) and at least 2 other celebrities tweeted the AI crash is coming. This makes me believe we are still going higher. Although all these people are successful in their own way I highly doubt they all time the top. Disbelief fuels strong trends and their posts in my opinion represent the collective disbelief of the majority. And the majority is always wrong.

Anybody has experience for the Summer on NQ? less volatile, any Session which was more profitable for you guys? i NEVER traded the summer for NQ ( every year i couldnt trade for 2/3 months and it was the summer )

All this talk about the S&P and Nasdaq dangerous territory. If you hedge and migrate to a delta neutral strategy in times like this then should you even care which direction the market moves? Dont miss a run up because you fear the end is near. Dont try to time the top because “this doesnt make sense”. Use the tools that are available to hedge.

@trad_ISABEL 100%. Develop a plan. Make sure it is backed with logical analysis and statistically in your favor. Then leave it alone. Many traders are too proud to admit they are the problem.

It is almost like there are market cycles... 1 year ago: Nasdaq pulls back 25% in 7 weeks. Then goes on a 29 week, 53% run. Exactly 1 year later: Nasdaq pulls back 13% in 9 weeks. Then goes on a 9 week, 30% run (and counting?) The magnitude of this pullback is less and the velocity of the recovery is stronger. VIX still has room on the downside. Still slightly elevated compared to last years recovery phase. If history repeats itself (again) we may see this bull run turn into a grind higher before it stalls or reverses.

Nasdaq Futures (NQ) has only had 1 failed low on the weekly chart since this run-up. And that was last week. VIX continues to drift lower.... Usually a good sign of continuation in the near-term.

Lots of new development this week evaluating various quant strategies. Focus is on improving edge while reducing risk. Most are dead ends, but a few are not. Version 7 will be released soon…

Right on @EinsteinoWallSt Today was definitely a “What the f- is foing on?!” kind of day. The market seemed to ignore news for a while. I guess she is listening again?

Volatile day for NQBot. Nasdaq was up early and within 2pts of hitting target only for the market to reverse. Heavy swing to the downside only to rotate back to small positive position for the day. Today is a day where emotions of a trader will try to intervene. NQBot didnt care and stuck to the plan.

Helpful tip: The time of day you trade matters. When you devise a system do the analysis to understand how it behaves at various times of day and day if week. We have done analysis on 15 years of data and clear patters emerge. This knowledge is one feature that helps give us our edge.

@SheTradesIct Yes it sure does. Testing over different market regimes is necessary. Most develop strategies that only work in certain market conditions. You just have to be careful to avoid overfitting.

Sometimes the best trades are not winners, but trades that prevent big losers. Below is an example of NQBot™ entering a trade at 3:30AM when it detected a valid entry signal. At 6:30AM one of the safety tripwires detected a signal that invalidated the entry and automatically exited the position for a $16 loss. This exit was done with no emotion or second guessing. The tripwire is there for a reason and it is backed by statistical analysis. Shortly later NQ ripped lower by over 450 points. Not every trade will be a winner. These types of trades are what preserves capital though.

@TradersConf Do a reset. Step back and simplify things. Slow things down and focus on 1 good trade a week.
