We invested time on Forever Gone but system allowed NSFT to produce this latest report (as if it’s trustworthy). It’s full of flaws. Not worth paper it’s written on. We’ll wait for public inquiry.

Our work on PFDs and unmet needs has been carried out by a v small team using data in public domain. @NSFTtweets get to splash the public’s cash to engage over 100 times as many people to work on their report. They have access to more info but 100x? Really?

It is impossible for these figures to be accurate given a starting point of lost patient IDs meaning the trust could not track back. Plus a methodology of 250 staff (with a mix of clinical and non clinical skills) looking at the data means no consistency. Puff review.

Far, far too many is the answer to this question. @NSFTtweets are belatedly counting deaths and planning service improvements with yet another Radical Redesign. And ICBs plan budget cuts. itv.com/news/anglia/20…

On eve of @NSFTtweets releasing their learning from deaths review, let’s remember a few points from Forever Gone and our input into the mortality working group (before we resigned on principle) 1- We said a retrospective review into deaths would be meaningless waste of resources.

@nuwandiss We follow mental health related deaths and suicides in Norfolk/Suffolk. There has been no let up in the last couple of years. Anecdotally, the number seems to be increasing despite claims of improving services. Also we observe the nature of many of these deaths seems worse too.

Are there increasing numbers of mental health tragedies or does it just feel that way?
