After a single 🚘 RTC tonight two males made off near Thetford. PD Zen was close by and located male 1 within minutes, before returning to the crashed vehicle and then tracked to the second male hiding in woodland. One off to custody for drink drive. #dontdrinkanddrive 🚱 #53

Busy shift tonight for Pd Zen and his handler, who arrested or assisted in the arrests of 5 people tonight! 3 of whom came in for burglary at a commercial premises. Another for drugs related offences and last but not least, one male for connection to an incident of violence. #53

Pd’s Zen & Willow met Barry & Gordon today, two retired dog handlers from the Met Police. 1950’s & 70’s It was also special as Gordon turned 90 today 🥳. We shared stories, talked about kit and vans, and our love for dogs 🐕. Now for a night shift. #policefamily #policedogs #53

We’re sad to report the passing of RPD Stella who crossed the rainbow bridge today. Stella retired with her handler PC BROWN in 2015, after 10 years service as a drugs, cash & firearms detection dog. Sending our thoughts to Mick and the family. 🐾 😔 #rainbowbridge #RIP

We have received our new BMW 530 which has been dedicated to PC1158 Alex Prentice, who suddenly passed away while on duty last year. The aerial identification is his collar number, which has also been stitched into the seat covers. Lovely work @TheresaCheney7 & her team
