Wow, the storm was so strong that it knocked down a large tree straight from the roots, at Picaldilly Apartments in Grand Island.

Intense lightning as we move into the 6 AM hour. This is looking north from Broken Bow.

Thunderstorms continue to slowly drift across north central Nebraska unfortunately around areas that saw very heavy rains at the end of last week.

Hastings has a number of power lines down in town. Crews are working on the problems .

Still some stronger thunderstorm activity lingering on in southeast Nebraska as we move towards 5:30 AM. No warnings in place though at this time.
