@Topblokegolf @francesca_kms It's weird... my commute is 7 miles and takes me 12 minutes. This would take me 40 minutes to cycle. Not to mention for work purposes travelling similar distances for visits. Potentially 4+ hours cycling a day... vs like an hour... 🤔

If you choose to drive, you choose to sit in traffic
Too many take up space, complain & masquerading it as concern for others
If one really cared about air quality & fairness, they wouldn’t default to driving.
Some need to, but if more didn’t the roads would work better 4 all

I'm not having this "Howe is allowed a poor season" stuff. He has a £750m squad which he built himself & we are 14th in the table & have been awful. Bruce's lowest finish was 13th & below are the sort of players he was working with. This season isn't just poor, it's abysmal #NUFC

@BobFromAccounts Cyclist dont have to pay a penny to use the roads . If they want their own infrastructure then they should pay for it. The money from the motor industry and multiplier effect more than pays for the roads and billions left over. Ps weather damages Rds.

I would happily pay £20 a year for more cycle lanes if we could invoke the Fourth Power Law and have drivers pay the equivalent amount per tonne of damage to the roads. Spoiler: it's not cheap

@BobFromAccounts Personally, I would like to see the many millions in cycle lane builds around the nation, clawed back from the cyclists who use them... lets say an annual adult cycle licence fee of something like £20... not too much to ask, a small contribution.. 6-8 m ( regular useers) x £20 ?!
