The Medicaid changes from OBBB you’re referencing haven’t even taken effect yet.
The article itself explains the real reason: “hospitals with low inpatient demand are converting to Rural Emergency Hospital status to eliminate costly 24/7 inpatient staffing while preserving emergency care.”
Governor Lombardo signed AB277 creating this designation in Nevada so communities like Boulder City can keep access to critical emergency and outpatient care and stay financially stable. He also secured the state $180M to strengthen our rural healthcare system and expand access to our rural communities.
Governor @JoeLombardoNV is focused on solutions, not misleading talking points.

March 13 is National K-9 Veterans Day! ( A day set to honor the service and sacrifice of our military working dogs all throughout history.
On the same day in 1942, the Army began training for its new War Dog Program, also known as the "K-9 Corps", according to American Humane, marking the first time that dogs were officially a part of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Thank you to all who have served and to our 4 legged Kg heroes past and present.
